    The mis­sion of the Sec­u­lar Stu­dent Soci­ety is to orga­nize, unite, edu­cate, and serve stu­dents and stu­dent com­mu­ni­ties to pro­mote the ideals of sci­en­tific and crit­i­cal inquiry, democ­racy, sec­u­lar­ism, and human based ethics.

    Although estab­lished pri­mar­ily to serve Texas Tech Uni­ver­sity, we look for­ward to meet­ing and work­ing with fel­low sec­u­lar­ists in the sur­round­ing com­mu­nity and to pro­mot­ing these ideals globally.
