We shall gather at Fuzzy’s Taco Shop tomor­row (Fri­day) night as usual. If you haven’t made it yet, it’s a great place to hang out with your fel­low hea­thens, enjoy a cold bev­er­age and solve the mys­ter­ies of the human experience…although I sus­pect this week will include bick­er­ing over health care while denounc­ing par­ti­san pol­i­tics. I hope to see every­one there-7:30ish at 2012 Broadway.

This week we thought we would repeat some­thing that went over pretty well last semes­ter and have a “sug­ges­tion meet­ing”. Do you have a sec­u­lar book or author you would like rec­om­mend to every­one else? A web­site or blog that you think the rest of us should check out? That’s the idea for the sug­ges­tion meet­ing. Holden Hall #4 ‚8:00 PM. I hope to see every­one there!

Looks like we are going to get together at Fuzzy’s again this Fri­day @ 7:30. Its a great place to hang out and meet your fel­low mem­bers, chat/argue, or just have a cou­ple beers (or sodas).  Fuzzy’s Taco Shop is at 2102 Broad­way, just down the street from campus.

Tonight is meet­ing night, and this week is movie night. Holden Hall #4, 8:00 PM. Come enjoy a movie about a child preacher who later became an athe­ist, but con­tin­ued his work to show the stu­pid­ity of Chris­t­ian fol­low­ers. I hope to see every­one there!

Time to get the week­end off to a good start. Some of us are going to get together at Fuzzy’s Taco Shop (2102 Broad­way, just down the street from cam­pus) tomor­row  night around 7:30.

Just a reminder that our next meet­ing will be this Mon­day night, 8:00 PM in Holden Hall room #4. I know sev­eral peo­ple will be out of town for the hol­i­day already, but it should be a lively dis­cus­sion this week so I hope every­one still stuck in Lub­bock can make it. We are still col­lect­ing cans for the food drive, so feel free to bring a few to donate. Hope to see you there!

Our next offi­cial meet­ing will be this com­ing Mon­day night at 8:00 PM, Holden hall room #4. We’re going to try some­thing a lit­tle dif­fer­ent this week, so I hope every­one can make it. We are ask­ing if at all pos­si­ble that you arrive a cou­ple min­utes early so that we can start the meet­ing on time this week. Of course if you can’t be there on time you are still wel­come to get there when you can, we just need to get the meet­ing under­way on time this week. We will also be start­ing our food drive for the South Plains Food Bank as well. Through­out the month, we’re ask­ing every­one to bring a cou­ple cans when­ever we get together. Hope to see every­one there!

In case any­one missed the email-If you wish to come to the party we ask that you email us officers@secularttu.com for the address and direc­tions. Two rea­sons behind this, we don’t want to pub­li­cize the address all over the place and so we can get a feel for how many are com­ing. Party is this Fri­day, the 23rd, start­ing at 5pm and going till when­ever in the morning.
